EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE
Education is the biggest virtue and one of the most valuable things in the world which can define a person and shape his life. At Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd , we fully comprehend the fact that society’s biggest asset is not the gigantic infrastructure or lavish lifestyle of the people. All this can disappear after a certain period if the population is uneducated. So the bigger investment of a society lies in refining its human resources by providing them with a good education. It is with this motto that Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd undertakes several education enhancement activities.
Education Enhancement:
At Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd, Corporate Social Responsibility is not considered as merely a brand image building tool. It is a sincere devotion that evokes genuine concern, aiming to provide a better future to the next generation. Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd has supported several schools by providing scholarships and distributing reading and writing materials to students at Zilla Parishad School, Maan. Moreover, the existing Anganwadi at Baripada has been re-constructed to provide a better learning environment for the students.

Adult Literacy Programme:
- A Polytechnic College is being proposed to bring technical advancement in rural areas and bridge the gap between industrial requirements and technical knowledge of local people, which will help to accelerate employments among local youths. Through this initiative, Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd aims to aid the rural youth of the society to break away from the vicious circle of poverty, ignorance, deprivation and exclusion by providing them good education and training to help them have a great career.
Astitva Computer Institute:
In rural India, education for girls is still seen as taboo and is in a very dismal situation. Most of the parents treat this as of no importance or at least importance. However, at Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd, we understand that one educated female can contribute to the happiness and well-being of the family as any other member. The only determining factor is to provide them with the opportunity to do the same. To make this vision forward, Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd, under the umbrella of Viraj Charitable Trust started Astitva Computer Training Institute to impart free computer education to girl students from nearby villages. The road to doing this was not easy, but in the end, looking at the student’s smiling face made up for all this. The exercise started with interaction with the girl students from the nearby villages to gauge their zeal to learn computers and decide the apt time to start this class.
Most of the students wanted to learn computer but due to financial limitations, they were unable to afford the tuition fees. In addition to that, the distance was another roadblock. The nearest computer training institute was around 12 KMs away from their village and travelling to this distance was not easy. It is when the CSR team got the idea to start a computer training institute right near their home at a walkable distance. Once we got a positive response from the students, we delayed it no further. Soon student’s enrolment process began. The objective was to equip these students with the basics of computer operation and help them find a decent job after their formal education. The first batch started with around 18 students who were studying in class 10th, 11th or 12th. The team decided to start this batch in May when all the exams were over. Finally, on the 5th of May, the institute opened its door to 18 students, who were bubbling with energy and had a spark in their eyes to learn something new. We also enrolled three students who are married and homemakers. Their willingness to learn definitely deserves appreciation. Given below are some of the pictures from the first batch of the students.
